Salt & Sage Living Co. started with a love of beautiful homes, but it quickly became about so much more than decor.

I’m a mom, a wife, a hairstylist, a beach lover, and the person in my house who is constantly rearranging pillows, moving decor from one room to another, and saying, “Wait, I think it looks better over here.”
Sometimes it does. Sometimes everyone else was right and it looked perfectly fine where it was.

Home has always been incredibly important to me. It is where the ordinary moments happen—the ones that may not seem important at the time but eventually become the memories we hold onto most. It is where my family gathers, where my son grows and learns, and where our four dogs somehow manage to take up every available seat despite having several beds of their own.

Our home is rarely perfectly quiet or perfectly clean. There are dog toys on the floor, fingerprints on things I just wiped down, and usually at least one mystery item that has been relocated by my son. But it is full of love, laughter, comfort, and life—and that is what makes it beautiful to me.

Becoming a mom changed the way I thought about home. I began to care less about everything looking perfect and more about how our home made us feel. I wanted it to be warm, welcoming, peaceful, and filled with things that made us happy. I wanted my son to grow up remembering cozy holidays, family dinners, beach weekends, movie nights, and the feeling of always being safe and loved at home.
I also wanted a creative space of my own.

As a hairstylist, I have always loved helping people feel beautiful and confident. There is something special about watching someone look in the mirror and feel more like themselves again. Salt & Sage Living Co. gives me another way to share that same feeling—only now, instead of just working with hair, I get to help people create spaces and routines that make them feel happy, inspired, and at home.

The name Salt & Sage represents two sides of what I love. “Salt” reflects my love for the beach, coastal living, and being an East Coast girl. The ocean has always been one of my happiest places. There is something about salty air and the sound of the waves that instantly makes life feel a little lighter.

“Sage” represents home, warmth, natural beauty, and a slower, more intentional way of living. It also happens to be one of my favorite colors, so that certainly helped.

I created Salt & Sage Living Co. because I wanted a place where all of these parts of my life could exist together—home decor, seasonal inspiration, fragrance, beauty, family, dogs, motherhood, and the honest reality of trying to build something meaningful while also remembering where I left my coffee.

This brand is part inspiration, part personal journal, and part excuse for me to continue browsing home decor and calling it “research.”
More than anything, Salt & Sage Living Co. is a reflection of the life I’m trying to create: one that feels cozy, creative, beautiful, and centered around the people I love most.

It will not always be perfectly styled. There may be dog hair on the rug and toys just outside the photo. But it will always be real, welcoming, and filled with heart.

I’m so grateful you’re here and following along as I build this little corner of the internet—and continue moving the same vase around my house until it finally finds the right spot.
